Nose: Fresh and perfumed with notes of oak and peels, a little syrup with a fennel note.
Taste: Sweet and rich with tropical fruits, peels and winter spice.
Finish: Gentle and luscious.
Inspired by a family recipe from 1862, Bacardi Ocho remained the sole preserve of the Bacardí family until 1998, when it had a successful limited release. Until its release it had no official name and it remains the only Bacardi rum to carry a minimum age statement.
