Created to honour Master Blender Alexander Walker II, this blend is crafted using an extremely rare three-stage blending method reserved from our most exclusive whiskies including now silent Port Dundas distillery. The whisky is assured, balanced and elegant, with layers of citrus zest, ripened tropical fruits and hints of tobacco.
John Walker & Sons XR 21 is crafted an extremely rare three-stage blending method reserved from our most exclusive whiskies. First a deliciously sweet, creamy and spicy vanilla core is crafted using rare casks of 21-year-old grain whiskies from the now silent Port Dundas distillery, Once the core is perfectly balanced, whiskies matured in American oak are introduced to further nurture the sweet heart of this complex blend. Finally, layer upon layer of rich fruit and malt flavours have been bruilt from selected reserves of 21-year-old single malt whiskies including from legendary Speyside distilleries Mortlach and Cardhu
