The 2019 Pernand-Vergelesses Les Fichots 1er Cru has ample red cherry and raspberry fruit on the nose, touches of sous-bois and tobacco emerging with aeration. The palate is soft and fleshy, a fine bead of acidity, gaining depth towards the finish with a touch of black pepper lingering on the aftertaste.
